London Riots

I am very angry. Everywhere kicking off is places I have lived and loved. The ‘Media” is not telling the truth. The streets are on fire cos nobody gives a shit about us the lost generation.  Most of Britain is lost consuming, drooling over corporate power.

We watched the activists use non violent tactics (ask nicely) and get police brutality. We watch the journos police and politicans cover up for each other. We watched the bankers get away with stupid greed screwing the world and gettin their bonuses as usual.

So when the cuts come down on US, our JSA barely enough to buy shit food. When we don’t know how we are going to heat our damp crap flats this winter with prices up 18% 2 weeks ago and the energy companies laughing all the way to the bank. When our Youth clubs are shut, EMA’s stolen and our streets turned toxic with ‘genetrification’ WHAT DID YOU EXPECT??

Since April when the spending axes swung down from the Town Halls the streets have been minging with Rats, getting as big as bus wheels, mice infest our crowded flats and fleas infest the parks. Our public mental health has been on the brink of breaking down with the day to day stress of living like this. This city has been ready to blow for a time now.

We are not destroying our own communities, don’t blame us for that. They were destroyed by the greedy corrupt Town Halls taking the bribes. In Hackney last night we left our own well alone. The locals shops on Clarence Road were not torched. The only one smashed was a Western Union money Transfer/ newsagents.

Don’t let the media steal this moment and twist it with lies. This has nothing to do with Anarchists. We can’t afford the luxury of ideology. This has everything to do with being starved out of oppotunity by a Bully Government slashing the rope of social mobility below them as they climb higher and higher and bunker smug in their priveledge.

If you are shocked and horrified you need to open your eyes to how the majorty of us live. We walk past you in the street and everyday you look away. You have profitted from our labours and deny us our rights. Wake up and smell our anger

. We have nothing to lose. Stay safe out there. X

IF YOU DON’T LET US DREAM, WE WONT LET YOU SLEEP

We are fucked. The young, the middle aged and the elderly of the UK, of Europe, of the world.

Well, not all of us.

The majority of us are paying the consequences for someone elses fuck-up, and it’s only going to get worse. And lets be honest, the problems aren’t new and aren’t just caused by this financial crisis.

It’s us, the youth, that have got the most to loose; our whole futures are suddenly in the balance. We’ve got shity levels of literacy among kids, we’ve lost EMA, we’ve got debt piling up, we’ve got no chance of ever owning a housing, struggling to rent, living with parents or facing homelessness. We’re got record levels of unemployment and where we have got jobs they’re badly paid, with no security and often lifetimes away from where we wanna be. Some papers have called us ‘The Lost Generation’ but we are still here, and it’s more than our CVs that is taking a battering. Many, many, many of us have been on JSA for years, either entirely, or off and on. Either way, many of us have no prospects.

We’ve got no hope, no way out.

We’ve been left with no plan and no choice. EMA and student riots are just the start of it.

Politicians, you can’t just fuck with people’s lives without consequence. While you sit in your ivory towers you are leaving people with no choice but to force you out. If we have no hope for the future, we have nothing to loose.
